Safety Assistance Programs

Programs and resources are available to help member cities keep employees safe and to help meet state and federal OSHA mandates.

The Regional Safety Group initiative provides an array of subsidized services to participating cities, including hands-on and web-based safety training, safety audits, and one-on-one consulting.

The Safety Loan Program is an affordable and reliable way for cities to fund safety improvements. Funds from this program may be used to purchase equipment.

The MNOSHA Workplace Safety Consultation is a free on-site safety consultation and assistance service available through the state of Minnesota.

The LMCIT DVD Library contains more than 250 titles, covering a broad spectrum of relevant loss control topics, and containing many videos produced within the last few years.

LMCIT's loss control consultants provide a wide range of services to cities, including general and specialized liability assistance. They also provide assistance regarding employee health and safety programs.
