Is your city prepared to deal with an emergency or disaster? As a municipal leader, it’s critical to have plans in place about how to respond during a catastrophe—and it’s even better if you’re able to synchronize these plans with neighboring communities.
This workshop provides a forum for local and regional executives to share strategies and coordinate plans for emergency preparedness and response. The day-long training is an efficient place to discuss executive-level issues with leaders from the agencies that are involved in all levels of the emergency management structure.
The goal is for executive and administrative staff, responder chiefs/department heads, and infrastructure and resource leaders to have a common perspective and an understanding of the challenges they will face in times of crisis.
