LMC Codification Services

High-quality, timely, and cost effective city codes
LMC partners with American Legal Publishing, a private codifier headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, to provide codification services. American Legal has published and maintained over 900 city codes for cities of all sizes across the nation.

Under the partnership between LMC and American Legal Publishing, the League provides the general oversight and formal legal review for all city code projects, and American Legal provides all general editing, printing, and other production services. In addition, American Legal's vast collection of sample ordinances enhances the League's ability to respond to requests for particular types of ordinances. By combining the League's experience in Minnesota law and issues of concerns to cities with American Legal's broad-based code publication experience and production methods, the League offers member cities the highest quality city codes in a timely fashion and for a very competitive price.
