BUILDING. East Bethel has a 19th century one-room school house building for sale for $1 or highest bid. This building was once known as the Brown School and as District No. 37 and last housed students in the early 1950s. It is 27 x 22 feet. The city acquired this building and moved it from its previous location on East Bethel Boulevard in East Bethel to Booster East Park, also in East Bethel in September 2010. It was set on a permanent foundation at that time. The cost of removal and transport will be the responsibility of the buyer or recipient. It has one 35-foot, three-section ladder; one 24-foot, two-section ladder, one 12-foot roof ladder, one 10-foot attic ladder, one 10-foot pike pole, and many other misc. equipment.
