Lobbying Resources
The League provides several resources to help you stay up-to-date on the legislative issues that impact your city:
- Bookmark the League's Third Reading legislative newsfeed, which is updated regularly during the legislative session with news affecting cities.
- Subscribe to the Cities Bulletin, a free electronic newsletter.

- Sign up for LMC legislative ("IGR") member forums to receive e-mails and ask questions about the issues that matter to you.
- Attend the League's conferences, including the Legislative Conference, a Regional Meeting, and the Annual Conference.
- Participate in one of four policy committees.
- Read the LMC's annual City Policies.
- Review new laws affecting cities by reading the annual Law Summaries.
- Learn about city-friendly legislation before Congress, and how to take action through the National League of Cities.
