"Discovering Common Ground" is one component of the Minneapolis Foundation’s multi-faceted initiative on immigration in Minnesota. The website provides an overview of immigration in the state and background on various immigrant groups that have settled in Minnesota. Issues featured include immigrant contributions, economic impact, terms and assumptions, education, terrorism and national security, civic and political life, and getting along. Numerous links to other resources on immigration in general and specific populations are also offered.

The Minnesota Community Campaign
"The New Minnesotans" is a civic action campaign, coordinated by the Minnesota Community Campaign, which uses art, media, social service and policy-making as tools for effecting positive change around immigration issues in the state. The campaign offers various free downloadable and for-purchase toolkits and other resources to assist communities in bringing about this change.
