The League of Minnesota Cities is a membership organization dedicated to promoting excellence in local government. We do so by providing effective advocacy, expert analysis, and trusted guidance for all Minnesota cities. The League serves more than 830 member cities—cities of every size and from all corners of the state.
Our services for cities include legislative advocacy, training and conferences, response to questions about city governance and management, and original research. In addition, the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) provides risk management and loss control services.
League staff have unique depth of expertise on a wide variety of issues related to city government and quality of life in Minnesota communities.
