Alternative Fuel Vehicle Symposium Set for Jan. 18

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Drive Electric Minnesota are hosting a free alternative fuel vehicle symposium for local government leaders on Jan. 18.

“Cleaning the Air: Next-Gen Vehicle Solutions” will take place at the GE Vehicle Innovation Center in Eden Prairie. This one-of-a-kind, world-class facility provides businesses and organizations from around the globe first-hand experience with alternative fuel vehicles.

Attendees will have an opportunity to:

  • Test the latest electric vehicles (EVs) and other green cars.
  • Network with other metro leaders.
  • Learn about Twin Cities EV charging stations.
  • Gather information on available matching grant funds.
  • Hear case studies on what Minnesota communities are doing in this area.

Learn about the advances in vehicle technology, offering the potential to reduce local government fuel and operating costs while improving air quality.
