The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) makes a number of rules every year that could affect city or local governments or be of interest to their constituencies. The MPCA’s rulemaking activities may address solid and hazardous waste management, air and water quality, grant programs, feedlots, and a number of other areas.
For each of these new rules, the MPCA seeks public comments and provides notice through an email notification system. You can sign up through the MPCA’s Govdelivery system to receive notice of the rules that may affect your city.
