In 10 Frequent Mistakes, 10 Best Practices, Dr. Richard Gasaway will take you through common mistakes and best practices he has discovered after extensive evaluation of more than 500 near-miss reports and line-of-duty casualty investigations.

Gain insight into how fireground safety can be improved through a variety of roles, including: staffing, communications, command activities, size-up strategy, standardized procedures, training, near-miss events, and post-incident evaluation.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Richard B. Gasaway has served for 33 years as a first responder in six organizations around the country. He is currently the Chief Scientist at the Public Safety Laboratory, an organization dedicated to applying lessons in research to improve first responder safety. Dr. Gasaway’s passion is improving first responder training and leadership.
