HR Training Program The HR Training Program is a direct answer to member cities' requests for human resources training geared exclusively for the public sector. This program provides training sessions targeted specifically to the HR needs of Minnesota cities. Through the League's program, members have access to League staff expertise, including a more complete look at issues which may involve claims, loss control and litigation insight. It is cost effective, time efficient, designed to ensure smooth city operations and to help protect the city from employment-related claims and lawsuits. Fees for the HR Training program are set to encourage city participation. In addition, cities have the flexibility of sending employees to attend a session at the League or arranging to have one on-site. Training locations have included the League offices in St. Paul, other easy to reach sites within the Twin Cities, and regional centers throughout the state. Choose from a number of general human resources topics or work with the League to develop a custom training. Topics include:
